Hi,
In this blog post I mention that from today Texo uses xtend2 for code generation:
http://martintaal.wordpress.com/2012/10/12/emft-texo-using-xtend2-for-faster-generation/

Texo supports template overriding/extension:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Texo/Template_Overriding

But... I have not yet found a good solution to support template overriding/extending with xtend2. Therefore xpand (which
allows overriding) is still supported (but not as the default). See the above blog post for more informaton.

An update on this, I managed to integrate xtend2 and xpand. So overriding/extending templates also works correctly now
in the new implementation.
