I was hacking inside IPictogramElementDelegate (I wanted to be change the color of some connections, but only temporarily, not transactionally, outside the pictograms hierarchy, like decorators; but currently Graphiti does not support decorators on connections), and I came upon the method (declared in the interface) :

refreshEditPartsForModelChildrenAndSourceConnections()

Does anyone know the reason for refreshing the edit parts of the source connections only?

As far as I remember, this method serves for mass refreshing of edit parts
and connections starting from the edit part(s). In case of both source and
target edit part of a connection being refreshed, we can omit duplicate
refreshs of the connection by this.
