I would like to be able to perform a search in a specific forum, but whenever I go to the forum and perform a search, the results come from all of the forums.

In particular, I am trying to search the JFace forum only for occurrences of "Data Binding". So, I go to the JFace forum; I search for Data Binding using the Forum Search; and results comes from all of the forums.

Is what I am trying to do even possible, or am I doing something wrong?

Is there some way to filter search results?

It would be nice if this just happened by default or some more obvious
mechanism...

Thanks for the help.

The bug did not make it clear, but it did give me an idea that this type of search was possible.

Using the Help provided at the forum, I was able to find an entry on "searching" which did have an obscure link that provided the functionality I needed.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

EUREKA!! - just before sending this I accidentally discovered that the "Search" icon provides different functionality than the "Forum Search" search box - I would have never guessed that was true! I always used the "Forum Search" before, but from now on I will use the "Search" icon.
