Is there a tutorial, go-by, guide or some other method to help me get started on a project where I may be able to better manage requirements?

Hi Ray,

If I understand you correctly, you would like to learn about requirements management in general? ProR is a generic tool, so most RE-approaches are supported. So far we haven't written a tutoral like that (could be useful).

For the time being, there is tons of literature. A google search on "requirements management tutorial" will give you some useful pointers.

Thank you very much for your response. I appologize for not being clear. I would like to know how to use our tool: What vervsion of Eclipse is required, are there choices to be made for downloads, and how to start.

Eclipse 3.6 or better. But you can also just install the stand-alone version.

You have the choice between the "official" version from the download page or the latest version from the Hudson build server. I recommend you to stick with the latest from the download page which also lists an update site link:

http://eclipse.org/rmf/download.php

> and how to start.

- On the entry page is a video that provides an introduction: http://eclipse.org/rmf/
- There is a tutorial in the wiki: http://wiki.eclipse.org/RMF/User_Guide/Tutorial

Hello Ray,

You can use the update site http://download.eclipse.org/rmf/updates for installing RMF into your own Eclipse Environment. As Michael already mentioned, you need at least Eclipse version 3.6. However, as an alternative, you can install the standalone version of ProR. Just install the ProR snapshot version 0.4.0 for your operation system from our download site: http://eclipse.org/rmf/download.php
