I realize this has probably been dealt with somewhere but my searching for the last 30 minutes has not surfaced a relevant thread.

I've installed Eclipse and ignored the security warning for the install file since I realize it's not an installer. But now when I run the Eclipse.exe I get the same dialog popping up:

--- Begin Dialog contents ---------------------
Open File - Security Warning
The Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?
Name: eclipse.exe
Publisher: Unknown Publisher
Type: Application
From: c:\Programs\DevTools\eclipse
...
This file does not have a valid digital signature that verifies its publisher. ...
--- end Dialog contents -----------------------

Is this happening because the executable itself wasn't installed through an installer? Is there a way to avoid it aside from telling the security filter not to check any more?

THanks for your patience with this newcomer Smile
