Hello!

Is it possible to customize a perspective in an Eclipse RCP application, save it as a new perspective, then make this new perspective fixed and share it with others? Thank you!

Alexandra.

Hi Wim,

I read the article and it's a good solution for a developer. But for a user it's not that obvious, especially for the "make the perspective fixed" part.
What I would actually want to be able to do is to allow some users to create their own perspectives dynamically (either in the RCP app using the "Save as...", either in an xml file) and make them be fixed.
Then I'd like to be able to somehow automatically load these dynamic perspectives to the other computers without actually creating a new update (without having to export a new product).

Greetings,
Alexandra.
