Hey Ed,

is there any information available what was has been changed since, e.g., the 3.1.0 release? Some kind of changelog?

Thanks & regards
Sebastian

Hi<br>

The anouncement did include:<br>

So try the N&amp;N. You can look at the GIT repo history, or the
Bugzilla history and see that indeed very little has happened since
the original Borland developers lost support from Borland.<br>
<br>
I joined the team to stop QVTo sliding backwards until we can move
forward to exploit the model driven enhancements available from
Xtext and the new OCL with its uniform UML aligned metamodel and
direct Java code generation. <br>
<br>
There is an embarrassing backlog of user fixes (rather than just
problems). Given my lack of detailed knowledge of the code, I am
considering adopting a lightweight mediation role to allow the
community to progress QVTo more effectively. This will require some
community members to assist in testing QVTo milestone and release
candidates, unless they can Open Source their own applications for
use as additional QVTo tests at Eclipse. Any offers?<br>

At least I can contribute a set of concrete examples implemented in QVT-O. For my masters thesis, I implemented every example from MediniQVT's Shapes-Tutorial in QVT-O in order to compare QVT-O with QVT-R. As soon as I submit my thesis, I'll also publish the examples here. There are some nice application examples included which illustrate the usage of constructors, abstract mappings, disjunctions, etc. that can help others learning QVT-O faster.

Hi

That would be very helpful; QVTo tutorial material is a little lacking.
Please consider structuring your master's write up so that the examples
perform form a pair of QVTo and QVTr Appendices that are easily reused.

Presumably you can give permission for the QVTo code to be released
under the Eclipse Public License and can certify that you wrote all the
QVTo code.

To cover the underlying ideas, and to extend the QVTr examples, we'll
need to approach Medini. Can you provide a reference to the Medini
source so that I can start the ball rolling.
