Hi,

I am trying to run my AGR test cases in standard mode. So I created
location, deployment, and artifact files as per the AGR user quide. But
when i run my test case using launch configuration i am getting the
following error message.

Connection failed on localhost.
Reason:
IWAT0284E The agent controller is not available on host localhost.
Make sure that:
*the agent controller is installed.
*the agent controller is configured to communicate with your machine.
*you have the correct host name and port number for the agent controller.

But I can able to run my test case in quick mode without any problems.

Thanks,
Pushparaj.

Hi,

What platform are you running on and what version of TPTP?

On all recent versions of TPTP, there is an Integrated Agent Controller
(IAC) that should start automatically in this case. When this failure
occurs, check and see if there is an ACServer or RAServer process running.
If there is not, it suggests a faulty install. If the IAC is running, it
is most likely your firewall on the system you are using that is blocking
socket connections to run the test.

You may also install the Agent Controller and start it separately so you
will have confidence that it is running.
