Tycho eclipse-repository not setting the +x bit inside the zip archive [message #923075]

I reported the following error: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=389829

Basically, when running maven+tycho on OS X, the eclipse-repository part of the build that creates the .app executable does set the +x bit on the executable, but during the archival process, that bit gets lost.
The end result is that if you unzip che OS X zip file and try to run the .app file, it does not run because of the missing executable bit.

Is there anyone who's got a workaround for that until someone takes care of fixing it in Tycho?
