Hi!
I found in forums and over the internet, that it is (or was) possible to use org.eclipse.jdt.ui.javaEditorTextHovers as extension point, and with that get hover text event.
But seems that this function don't work in eclipse 4.2 anymore?
It was possible to add this extension point via "Extension Point Selection", but the description and schema is not found (maybe I'm missing some jars). I tried to search something similar or any tips on 4.2 version. But with any luck.

So this extension point still works with 4.2? Or I have to use other way/point/class? If so, which?

Thanks in advance!

the exsd which describes the extension point is not part of the source
bundles.

Which Juno package did you downloaded? I'm not sure which packages also
hold the source for JDT-Source because I'm always download the pure
Eclipse SDK instead of bundled package like J2EE, ... and that one holds
the JDT-Source

Yes, get full eclipse sdk helped!
This is odd, because mine eclipse version was for plugins developers.

Thanks Thomas!
