Hi All,

I found out from the TPTP Manual that we can execute the TPTP tests from
the command prompt using the cmd shell available using TPTP automation
client.

There is an example for running it using ant script. But nor for running
it using the cmd shell available using the TPTP automation client.

Please let me know the steps involved running the same from the command
line.

Thanks
Saran

See the instructions:

http://help.eclipse.org/help33/topic/org.eclipse.hyades.test .doc.user/tasks/texecuting-the-test-execution-service.htm
>> Running tests from the command line and shell scripts

You can also use the automation client adaptor scripts:

plugins\org.eclipse.hyades.execution\automation-client-adapt er.bat/cmd/sh

The above link to the eclipse help doesn't help much in this regard. It
just has a small paragraph briefly explaining the overview. I found out
the parameters and syntax by running the automation-client-adapter.bat
without any args. It will then show the TPTP Automation Client Adapter
Help on command line, which explains the usage definition and valid named
parameters that may be used.

A simple and typical usage example:
automation-client-adapter -workspace c:\myworkspace -project myproj
-suite myt
est

Hi Bobby,
The overview page has links at the bottom to documents covering
everything you need to use ASF for test execution/reporting:

Using ASF:
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/advanced/content.jsp?topic=/o rg.eclipse.hyades.test.doc.user/tasks/texecuting-the-test-ex ecution-service.htm

Supported test execution properties:
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/advanced/tocView.jsp?view=toc &topic=/org.eclipse.hyades.test.doc.user/tasks/texecutin g-the-test-execution-service.htm

The below links may not work in some browsers:

Using ASF:
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp >> Testing applications >> Testing
applications >> Launching tests from scripts and applications >> Using the
TPTP automatable services

Supported test execution properties:
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp >> Testing applications >> Testing
applications >> Launching tests from scripts and applications >> Supported
test execution service properties
