installing agent controller on unix [message #124149]

Hi Gali,

For some reason the latest downloads of Eclipse are not available for HP.
The latest version of TPTP/agent controller that I've found for hpux is
4.3.1

http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/?ver=4.3.1

This is also the case for Solaris. I'm unsure why this is, but the latest
releases of Eclipse are also not available on hpux (latest release available
for download is 3.2.2). Perhaps someone else knows why there are no official
downloads of newer versions for hpux.

Sadly I don't know if the 4.3.1 version of agent controller will work with
the latest 4.4.03 installation of tptp for remote profiling (or indeed if it
is any different) as I've not yet had a need to try it!

Any news about TPTP + Unix?

I am facing similar problem. I want to profile a Java 1.6 application on Unix but no solution so far ...

Hi Flavio, I am sorry to say, the only Unix platform supported by TPTP is Linux, running on IA32, x64, or Itanium chipsets.

Hi

I have heard about RAC - Rational Agent Controller - which is supported on Unix and can "talk" with standard TPTP.

Has anybody tried that solution ?
