Hi RAP Team,

I found there are rap-runtime-1.2.0-M5-20090210-1243.zip,
rap-1.2.0-M4-target-3.5-20081223-1131.zip, 1.1.2 Service Release:
rap-1.1.2-SR2-target-3.4-20090218-1212.zip, RAP 1.1 Release, based on
Eclipse 3.4: rap-1.1.0-R-target-3.4-20080613-1055.zip target platform from
eclipse rap download site.

About rap-runtime-1.2.0-M5-20090210-1243.zip and
rap-1.2.0-M4-target-3.5-20081223-1131.zip, I think the difference is just
the name, as 1.2M5 add the "runtime".

But I really confuse the Service Release and just Release version, what is
the difference between them?

Thanks.

Best Regards,
Cheney

Hi Cheney,

the service releases are meant to be updates for existing releases. RAP
1.1 was already released so 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 are based on the 1.1 release
with some of the critical bugs fixed.
In the opposite, 1.2 is based the current development stream of RAP.
This implies new features and lot more bug fixes. RAP 1.2 is not yet
released - only the milestones are out so the community can give us
early feedback and report new bugs before the next major version (1.2)
will be released.

Cheers
Benny
