Hi everyone,

Does anyone know why org.eclipse.emf.teneo.hibernate has vanished from
interim update site ?
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/si te.xml
There's Teneo but no more teneo.hibernate ...

Cheers,
Guillaume

I'd like to add that I used to use this update site :
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/site-inter im.xml
according to installation procedure
http://www.elver.org/hibernate/installation.html

But this address is unavailable so I searched a bit and found this one as
a replacement
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/si te.xml but
this update site contains no org.eclipse.emf.teneo.hibernate feature.

Hi Guillaume,
The hibernate and jpox part are distributed together within the Teneo feature(s). So if you install
the Teneo sdk or runtime you should get it.

Thanks for letting me know about the wrong link. I'll change that.

Hi Martin,

Thx for the quick answer.
I'm using buckminster to materialize teneo feature and the resolve phase leads to a missing file. Here is the error :
Unable to retrieve remote reference " http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/fe atures/org.eclipse.uml2.examples_2.2.0.v200803260935.jar".
Server returned HTTP response code: "404 Not Found" for URL: http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/fe atures/org.eclipse.uml2.examples_2.2.0.v200803260935.jar.

It seems, either the site.xml contains an error or the file really is missing. Can you check it ?

Cheers,
Guillaume

Just let me add that Buckminster finds the dependencies by parsing the plugin.xml of each features/plugin. So org.eclipse.uml2.examples might be a dependency of org.eclipse.emf.teneo . Does it make sense ?

Hi Guillaume,
Teneo has no dependency on uml2. Can you check if you not accidently also download/install another
feature which uses uml2?

Hi Martin,

I checked it with Thomas Hallgren from Buckminster project :
http://www.eclipse.org/newsportal/article.php?id=132&gro up=eclipse.tools.buckminster#132

The problem is there's an inconsistency in the EMFT site.xml -> http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/si te.xml

Thomas Hallgren wrote:

Can you fix this ?

Cheers,
Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,
I am not sure, is this really a Teneo issue? I am not yet convinced about that.
Maybe it is an issue of another EMFT component... (maybe search?)

Surprisingly enough, emf.search == EMF Search [0].

(I know, what's up with the logical mapping between feature namespace
and component name?) :)

If EMF Search depends on UML2, just add one of the MDT update sites as
well in order to resolve those dependencies. Choices are listed here [1].

Or, simpler, install from the Ganymede site, since it includes
everything in one site [2]. Or use the bleeding edge staging site [3].

I'd like to add that I used to use this update site :
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/site-inter im.xml
according to installation procedure
http://www.elver.org/hibernate/installation.html

But this address is unavailable so I searched a bit and found this one as
a replacement
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/si te.xml but
this update site contains no org.eclipse.emf.teneo.hibernate feature.

the Teneo sdk or runtime you should get it.

Server returned HTTP response code: "404 Not Found" for URL: http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/updates/interim/fe atures/org.eclipse.uml2.examples_2.2.0.v200803260935.jar

Can you fix this ?

Cheers,
Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,
I am not sure, is this really a Teneo issue? I am not yet convinced about that.
Maybe it is an issue of another EMFT component... (maybe search?)

Surprisingly enough, emf.search == EMF Search [0].
