I have created this topic because after I looked online and through the forum I cound'nt find where to post an Idea I have about improvement of eclipse.

As a developer I constantly work with multiple files. The capability of eclipse environment to split and show multiple files at the same time is awesome;
However I think it would be great for eclipse to allow detaching (separating) each file editor from the main eclipse window, which will allow to drag the separate editors all over the screen (or multiple screens) and ease the work of the developer.

I would like to see this lose version of eclipse sooner.

It's best to file them as enhancement requests (SEVERITY = ENHANCEMENT) in Bugzilla at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi .

Try 4.2
(http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/R-4.2-201206081400/).
This latest version allows this.
