I am new to Eclipse and Java and hopefully I am posting this in the right
place.

I wish to view the Java API docs as I type commands in the workspace while
writing classes. I noticed that on many of my friends laptops, eclipse comes
up with API documentation as a yellow tooltip that tells you about the
command as you type commands. For eg. System.out.. If you press CTRL+SPACE
you will get a dropdown list of commands and as you go over each of the
commands in the list, there is a yellow area that pops up below, giving
descriptions just like in the Java API online at the sun website.

This feature seems to be working on other computer's but not on mine. I am
told that it should be working by default, but that is not the case with me.

Lastly, I just formatted and reinstalled Windows XP, Java JDK 1.5.0_06 on my
computers, got myself the latest eclipse.. So I really dont know what it the
problem.. Please help me, becuase I am looking fwd to use the feature I just
described..

Thanks..
