I'm using:

Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.

Version: Indigo Service Release 2
Build id: 20120216-1857

I have the emacs key bindings enabled. Incremental find stopped working. When I press ctrl-S, I see "incremental find" displayed in the bottom status bar. But when I start typing, the letters that I type are entered in the editor, rather than the incremental find behavior.

This worked previously. I've tried resetting the key binding defaults.

Any ideas how to solve this (other than a complete reinstall -- project configuration will be a multiple hour task that I really want to avoid if possible).
