Hi all (Rüdiger?Smile

I am thinking about my architecture these days. I plan to run RAP in a clustered environment and have to decide wether to build a war and run on tomcat or use virgo (which I'd prefer) as a platform. I took a look at

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=353117

and now I wonder what state this is in. Would you think I could go forward with this patch on virgo ?

Regards Thomas

Hi Thomas,

as Rüdiger wrote in his comment https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=353117#c1
this patch is a *prototyp* which has been developed with Jetty.

As far as I know RAP currently does not support session failover in an OSGi environment because of the lack of automated tests:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=358557

For Virgo Server for Apache Tomcat there is an open issue regarding session failover https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=361971

Despite of this facts I'd like to encourage you to test the patch on Virgo Jetty Server. The results would be great input engaging the topic in the future.

Regards,
Florian
