Hello,

When I build my product, the product feature does not change, thus between builds the product feature's feature version always stays the same (my qualifier replacement strategy is lastRevision). This causes problem when I run another build and try to update my previous build - since feature versions are the same for build 1 and build 2, there is nothing to update.

To overcome this issue I have a text file in product feature that I update whenever I do release build. This works, but I rather not do this as nightly updates do not work.

Is there a way to update product's feature version with each build?

Thanks,
Alex

You should not need to do anything - see http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/148718/467887/#msg_467887

See also http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/268427/768667/#msg_768667 for use when the SCM is Git

Thanks Matthew, all this time using Buckminster and I didn't know it calculates qualifier based on its dependencies.
