Hi,
on eclipse Juno 32 bit (I use CDT for embedded microcontrollers) there is an issue that sounds like a bug:

If I export all preferences (export->general->preferences->export all) it seems that the key preferences are not correctly exported.

It works for me. If it does not work for you, then please file a bug
against Platform UI.
