Hi!

I'm new to RAP and I have some trouble understanding it so far! I cant
find some tutorials or text books covering this technology. Only thing I
can find is some tutorials of how to create a RAP-project and how to run
it, nothing on how to develop or modify the RAP application. Is there
any tutorial or text book that explains more about the structure in RAP
and, step by step, shows how to develop a RAP application and create
some functions (i.e. create a button wich opens a new windows/dialog on
top of the first window)... Any source code for doing some "basic" stuff
is also appreciated! Thanks you very much!!

Hi,

there's been recently published a book about RAP: http://www.rap-book.com/.

To get a basic understanding you might also want to take a look at
Equinox and RCP development (plenty of books out there...) which are the
basic technologies for RAP. The screencast at
http://www.eclipse.org/rap/gettingstarted.php are definetly very
helpful, too.

Regards,
Stefan.

Works for me, but you need flash (tested with IE7 + latest flash).

Aha, no wonder I've been so productive lately -- I didn't have Flash
installed :)

Unfortunately with IE7 and the latest Flash 10.0.12.36, and restarting my
whole pc, and trying on a 2nd pc with the same IE7/Flash, I still can't
see them. Oh well.
