Hi,

I am looking for a way to collaborative work on UML models. Till today I thought that CDO is the way to go. But there are still some problems that hamper using CDO for UML models.

Today I took notice of EMF Store. When should I use this one compared to CDO? And: Is it possible to collaboratively work on UML models with EMF Store?

Regards

Tex

Hi Tex,

I did not try personally, but I know that one of the EMFStore users
tried and it seemed to have worked out for them. They reported some
problem initially that we had fixed at that time (about 6 months ago).
In general UML contains some custom code in the generated model classes
that is difficult to be handled with model repositories including
EMFStore. We do not have anyone trying UML with the current EMFStore
releases and builds on a regular basis. It would be cool if you could
try and share your experience.
Let me know if you need any help!

Cheers,
Maximilian
