Hi Guys,

I watch bugzilla to track the status of development work and fixes that I am interested in. It is great to see things moving along.

I have always wondered why there are so many inactive bugs or enhancements. Referring to the page http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/Bugs lasted edited in 2010, it is easy to see that there is no process for abandoning assigned work or clearing backlogs of bugs and requests.

Of course a diagram looks nice, but reality is what needs to be modeled. Does the process work? Is there an explanation somewhere of the bug/enhancement process of CDT for items that have fallen inactive?

Just interested. Thanks.
