I'm a newbie to eclipse and java programming. I've went through all of Mark Dexter's tutorials on java and eclipse. My ultimate goal is to write phone software. Right now I just want to learn more about java and develop a simple app that runs on a PC. Can anyone point me to some good resources? Thanks.

Go to vogella.de. Lars Vogel's tutorials rock! And, you'll find the best
Android tutorial I ever tried out back when I was learning that.
