Hi all,
i'm a beginner in birt report..

during my development and deployment on ourself server, everything was ok..
but when we try to deploy it on hosting server (3rd party server),problem happened..

i can browse birt-viewer homepage (see attach file)..
but when i click on view example..404 error appear (refer attach file).
my hosting server seems not recognize the frameset path.

our hosting server run on Apache Tomcat/5.5.35,i'm using birt runtime 3.7.

i have change frameset to run,preview,or output,but stil can't load even test.rptdesign

any clue to resolve it?..thanks in advanced

*help me!..i'm on trouble to deliver this, almost 1week pending due to this

finally i got it..my test.rptdesign successfully loaded,
it's all about external tomcat hosting port Smile

however, after i try to reopen birt eclipse home page,
browser return me an error

java.servlet.ServletException. (see attachment)
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError : PermGen space

please advised me..since my birt reporting deploy on 3rd party hosting,
i'm not being able to debug direct to tomcat configuration.

thanks in advanced

Are you allowed to modify your tomcat jvm parameters? This error can be
fixed by adding JVM parameter. I do this in my catalina.bat file

set JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -XX:MaxPermSize=256m
