Hi all, I apologize in advance for my english because I'm Italian.
I've a problem with positioning the components on my frame; this problem only occurs when i use ubuntu, everything works fine on windows.
I post a screenshot so you can understand what I mean.

The code is the one automatically generated by WindowBuilder by default, I just added a JButton component on the frame and as you see the button appears below his "black borders"; if I want to move the button I can only move the borders and then it appears below so I can't place it directly where i need to.

Please provide more details of your environment. Eclipse version. WindowBuilder version. Ubuntu version. Window manager used. Etc.

Have you tried a different window manager?

I use Ubuntu 12.04 with eclipse Indigo 3.7.2 and I downloaded the release version of WindowBuilder from here http://www.eclipse.org/windowbuilder/download.php .
I cannot tell you the Window manager used because I don't know what that is, can you explain me please?

Sorry for double post, I use Compiz as Window Manager.
I tried to disable the visual effects, but the problem does not disappear completely, any ideas?

Metacity? Kwin? Anything other than Compiz?

WindowBuilder gets two pieces of info from the window manager when rendering widgets...the actual widget images and their bounds (as reported by the window manager). Based on the screen shot, it appears that the bounds are being reported incorrectly (by the amount of the window decorations, I presume).
