I wanted to use Juno on my Ubuntu 12.04 OS and since I would rather control the Eclipse updates through Eclipse I downloaded the Juno package eclipse-rcp-juno-linux-gtk.tar.gz since I plan on doing some RCP work.

After downloading and installing it I ran it, and the first thing I see is the splash that says it is Indigo. I checked the About Eclipse and it also says that it is Indigo Service Release 2. Is this because I downloaded the RCP package or because there was a mistake in the package?

How did you "install" it and how are you running it?
