Hi

Is it possible to run Epsilon in another OSGi implementation such as
Apache Felix?

Hi,

In short: I'm not sure!

Running Epsilon in Felix (or any OSGi implementation other than Eclipse) is not something that we've tried as far as I know. We do have a standalone version of Epsilon that can run outside of an OSGi implementation, and this might be a good starting point: http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.epsilon/trunk/standalone/org.eclipse.epsilon.standalone/

If you're interested in using EMF models with Epsilon on Apache Felix, you'd need to look into EMF OSGi (https://github.com/njbartlett/emf-osgi), which has been developed while the EMF team decide how to approach bug #328227 (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=328227)

Do let us know if you run into any dependency issues with Epsilon that would prevent integration with Felix, and we'll do our best to resolve them.

Cheers,
Louis.
