I'm using birt export excel file, the default sheet name is Sheet1... how to change excel Sheet name?

In the newest version, if you change the title of the report in the property editor, the name of the sheet is changed to that. I'm not sure if this is the case back in 2.3.1, or not.

Hello Williams , newest version means whic version you are refereing to. Is it 4.x ?

I am able to use the same feature in BIRT 2.6.1.also.

Yep. You are correct. So, smith link, it works as far back as 2.6.1. Test and let us know. It may have been a feature upgrade in a version after yours. Also, in newer versions, there are other 3rd party XLS emitters you can use, like the SpudSoft emitter and the Native XLS emitter. 2.3.1 had the Tribix emitter as an option. If you don't get it to work for you in the standard 2.3.1 emitter, you might try the Tribix one. Here are some links to all the above mentioned emitters:
