Hi Elias and Barbara,
Unfortunately, there are several General Availability (GA) or Technology
Preview components in TPTP that are moving to As-Is, including the AGR.
This move is in response to the change in resources for the TPTP 4.5
release. These As-Is components represent function that our consuming
products are not extending/packaging and therefore not funding. We will
continue to provide them to the open-source community for existing users but
with no support (for example, defects, news group, and mailing lists). They
are still being built and packaged so we can accept patches from the
open-source community. In the case of the AGR and BIRT test reports, we are
still using these components in the project. Of course, we are always
interested in contributions to any of these components and if sufficient
resources are contributed, we can move a component back to a General
Availability (GA) or Technology Preview component.

We will be making an announcement on the TPTP News mailing list and the
news groups once all of the components have been moved to As-Is.
Our apologies for the negative impact that this reorganization has

Thanks for the information, Paul.
It is really a pity. With all the pending problems (some of which were
rather critical for us) we still found AGR a very good tool, much more
controllable, stable and resilient to change than most functional
testing tools out there. A shame that the powers that be at your end do
not recognise this!...
I wish I had the time and the energy to contribute to it myself, but
unfortunately, with our own fairly major open source project, I am left
with no extra time at all.
Thank you and your team anyway for the AGR work and the answers to all
those newsgroup panicked questions!... :-)
