Hi,

I would like to know how Jubula does component naming for recorded components.

i.e. when I record a test some components are recorded as well, so how these component names are set

Hi,

They are basically generated based on a few factors. I'm a bit rusty on which ones exactly, but if I remember correctly, it is the component type plus a running number. If you already have a component name and mapping for this component, then that is used.

HTH,
Alex

Hi Alex,

With the current naming/component recognition mechanism is there any possibility that a component is recorded twice with different names ?

Thanks,
Mohamed
