Hi Ed, Eike and all other EMF project leads and committers

I know time is money and many projects here have only a small team, so
there are no really time for a New and Noteworthy page like the platform
project.

But can you tell us in some sentences, what are the most new and
noteworthy things for the juno release?

Greeting and thanks in advance

Heiko

Heiko,

For EMF, the new Xcore support is the biggest thing:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Xcore

Note much else happened in the core itself.
ResourceSetImpl.MappedResourceLocator is useful for large resource sets...

Hi

For MDT/OCL the non-examples changes are minor. The examples have OCL 2
Java code gen. There is a summary at the start of
http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT/OCL/New_and_Noteworthy/Juno.

For MDT/UML2 the support for UML 2.4 and 2.4.1 is a major advance. The
new UMLResourcesUtil.init() saves a lot of standalone hassle.

For MMT/QVTo, no significant changes.

[For MMT/QVTd, there are now QVTc and QVTr Xtext-based editors.]

Regards

Ed Willink
