There seem to be quite a few posts about creating SWT emitters for BIRT. Are there any which are actually maintained? Are there any plans to include an oficially supported SWT emitter in the future?

Alexey,

I know there is a bugzilla entry for there has been not action on it in
quite some time. I know the guys at Zenika did one. You may want to
take a look at it:

I believe there is also an example viewer using this emitter:
