hi,

I want to know if there are any annotations supported by BIRT 3.7.2 when we code it through Eclipse? (same as we have @override or @test in java code).

Not that I am aware of. Can you give some more details on what you are
trying to do?

I want to compare several report generating tools like BIRT, Jasper etc. I am considering "Annotation support" as one of the parameters of comparison. So I want to know if there are any annotations(which can help to reduce lines of code or make it more readable) supported by BIRT.

BIRT does not have annotations, but it has quite a few other features.

Innovent Solutions did a comparison. It is a bit old but may be worth
having a look at. I am sure all the products have added features since
its publication.
