http://www.eclipse.org/nebula/widgets/cdatetime/cdatetime.php?page=i18n contains a link to the properties file http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/viewvc.cgi/~checkout~/org.eclipse.swt.nebula/org.eclipse.swt.nebula.widgets/src/org/eclipse/swt/nebula/widgets/cdatetime/messages_en_US.properties?rev=1.4&cvsroot=Technology_Project which produces 404 error code. It should also mention which encoding needs to be used (I assume ISO 8859-1, as for other Eclipse localization).

Could you explain what does {0,date,EEEE} mean? I know 0 means first parameter, but not the other two.

Edit: ah, just SimpleDateFormat. Ok, I'll test my Russian translation and submit it when time allows.

Did you read the documentation of MessageFormat - there all formats are
explained and or linked e.g. DateFormat which points to SimpleDateFormat.
