Hi,

I am looking for a tool to convert an eclipse uml2 model into an ecore metamodel.
That is I want all UML elements as EObjects in the ecore metamodel.
The uml2ecore converter from the UML-Editor does not fit my purpose.

Does the openarchitectureware uml2ecore converter still exist in Xtext 2.3 ?
When yes, how can I access it?
When no, how can I build such a tool on my own?

Model to metamodel? Are you sure?

Why not use the UML ecore model and load the XMI using Ecore?

No

Hard to say, but definitively not an Xtext / TMF relasted question.

Hi

UML2Ecore and Ecore2UML are available as part of the MDT/UML2 project.

Interactively, you will find Ecore2UML in the Sample Ecore Editor and
UML2Ecore in the UML Model Editor.

Regards

Yes that is what I want, can you provide code snippet or a pointer to how to do this in Java?
