Hi

New to the forum but ben using it regularly.
I have a few questions on Crosstabs i simply can't work out

Q1

I've created a cross tab to display
USERID 1m, 3m...
user1 100 130...
user2
user3

the issue I'm having is that the dates in the frequency are been order alphabetically and not chronologically. Is there a way tog et round this as it's causing me real issues

Q2

i want to create a cross tabe that will display date along the Y-axis and user ID along the X Axis with their earnings for each particular month end date

-------------user1 user2 user3 etc, etc
01/01/2010 100 110 150
01/02/2010 90 70 200
01/03/2010 150 120 100
...
01/01/2011

I have many users so dont want to hardcode into a table and would prefer to use a cross tab. is there a way to do this. I only seem to be able to have the date freqncy on the X and the user id along the Y which is not really suitable for what i want to do

Any help would be most welcome
Thanks

1 - Is the date defined as a date dimension? If so it should sort
chronologically.

2 - Are you just dragging the cube to the canvas? If so, instead of
doing that drag a blank crosstab over to the canvas and then from the
cube drag the dimensions over and put them wherever you want. Also you
may want to look at the general properties for a xtab. There is a drop
down box to switch the orientation.
