occurrences feature not working for variables/functions [message #10560] |

One of the features I am having a hard time living without from PHPEclipse
is the occurrences feature. The occurrences feature was/is the same as in
the Java editor. Basically, a single click on a variable or function
"highlights" the variable/function and displays an indicator in the
occurrences(annotations?) bar of all occurrences of that variable/function.
The occurrences bar is the same vertical bar at the rightmost of the editor
window that shows the occurrences of all TODO tags and errors amongst other
items. I think this funcitonality is part of eclipse's default editor
however it isn't working for me in PDT.
Relevant information
PDT - Nightly build (N20070325)
Eclipse (3.2.2r322_v20070104)
Windows XP
Java 6(relevant? probably not)
Any chance we can get this working in PDT? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Joshua-

I also miss this feature. I think that in PHPEclipse is also possible
setup of code checker to mark defined but non-used variables as
notice/warning/error. This is usefull to eliminate or easy find typos in
variables.

I should have looked at the bug list more closely, this has been reported as
a bug:
