I've noticed that even on M7 the PerspectiveRegistry clonePerspective() method is still unsupported.

Running my 3.7 app in compatibility mode therefore fails as it makes use of this. Is this likely to make it into the final release or is there an alternative instead?

Sorry Matt, but at this point it's unlikely to make it into the release. Please file a bug report so that it's not forgotten.
