ext.type=external
ext.searchPattern=repository/ext/{artifact}

usr.type=watched
usr.watchDirectory=repository/usr

test-app.type=external
test-app.searchPattern=E:/BGLPro/researches/osgi/test_v1/*/${bundle}

chain=ext,usr,test-app

the above is the repository configuration, I set these and click the refresh button in repository tag panel, but useless.

George, please file a bug on this indicating what steps you took and whether this worked with prior versions of tooling.

Hi miles,

The steps are simple,
1. config the repository file
2. go to IDE and click the refresh button on the repository tag panel of virgo server instance. And then can see the change from the settings.

It worked before, but no more success during the last update yesterday.(It's totally crashed, and today I update again, not working now)
The IDE log file has no error for this.

OK, I've created one myself. Smile See 378520: Search repository panel broken
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=378520.

But please note that it's an important part of Eclipse community process to have users entering bugs. I want to encourage everyone to do that when they have identified a repeatable issue. See http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ for more details.

The issue has been resolved. The build itself should complete and promote to snapshot in the next 15 minutes or so.

Thanks very much!
It was my mistake anyway.

It should be set as
test-app.searchPattern=E:/BGLPro/researches/osgi/test_v1/*/{bundle}

but I was set it as
test-app.searchPattern=E:/BGLPro/researches/osgi/test_v1/*/${bundle}

so bad Very Happy
