Hi,

I'm trying to generate a Papyrus model (.di2) from an existing (.uml) file using the context [Create model from an existing UML file].
I generate this (.uml) file by model transformation using an Acceleo template (V 2.6).
But the result of Papyrus model(.di2) is always an empty model.

Please help me.

I use :
Papyrus 1.11.0
Acceleo 2.8
==> on Eclipse 3.4(Ganymede).

Hi!

I had your same problem, and I solved it by doing two things:

1. Update my Papyrus version to the latest, if I am correctly it should be 0.8.2. You must be using an older version since the extension is di2, newer versions use the extension .di.

2. I followed the instructions on this thread: Initialize papyrus diagram from an UML file, also from this forum.

You can take a look, hope this helps.

Hi,

I have installed eclipse SR2 Indigo, papyrus (0.8.2)and UML2Tools (0.10).
When I right click on (.uml) file I find initialize class diagram, initialize use case diagram etc. on the project explorer view but I can't find the initialize papyrus diagram menu. How can I show this option.

Can you help me please.

I was not able to get that option, what I did was a workaround to generate the diagram, I did exactly as it is explained here:
