Hi All,

I am trying to use TPTP to recod user events for my eclipse based
applications. So i am following the tutorilal,
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/test/documents/userguides/Intro- Auto-GUI.html#2.0

But its not allowing to enter the project name in the project creation
wizard. because that wizard is not in focus.

Hi Pushparaj,
Can you give more details on the TPTP/Eclipse/AutoGUI version you are using
and the environment you are working in (OS etc).

Also, Does this problem occur when you record or when you playback your
recording.

Hi Rohit,

I am using,
TPTP - 4.4.0.2
Eclipse - 3.3
Auto GUI - 4.4.0.2

I am facing this problem when i am trying do record.
I am following the tutorial,

Is this Linux or Windows? Did you try selecting the wizard with your
mouse?

Hi Paul,

I am using Linux.

Yes. I am using mouse to select the wizard.

If i am using the menu File-> Project, i am not able to select the 'next'
button.
If i am using the menu File-> Java Project, i am not able enter the
project name in the wizard.

Hi Pushparaj,
This appears to be a defect caused by the controller freezing while
trying to identify its parent due to SWT events not being called correctly.
Please open a defect with your configuration (OS vendor/version, JRE
vendor/version, TPTP/AGR version, etc.):

Hi Pushparaj,
This problem is specific to your machine and configuration. We test the
AGR on Linux (SLES 10)/IBM JRE 1.5 SR4 with success. What OS vendor/version
and JRE vendor/version are you using?

You could try to delete your workspace and create a new project/test
suite.

I am using Redhat linux(RHEL 4). kernel version 2.6.18-1.2798.
and sun/jre 1.5

I am facing the same problem even after removing workspace/creating new
test suite.

Although this configuration (OS/JRE vendor/version) is not tested each
release, there should be no blocking issues. Please open a defect:
