I am really excited about the ecore tools. I was wondering what the
relationships between

http://topcased-mm.gforge.enseeiht.fr/website/modeling/ecore /index.html
and
http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/?project=ecoretools

is?

I noticed that many of the committers on Ecore tools also worked on the
Topcased tool? Is the topcased tool becoming part of ecore tools?

cheers,
ian

Ian,

Indeed, the Ecore Tools component comes from an initial contribution
based on the Ecore graphical editor developed by Anyware Technologies
within Topcased.
During the 2.0 development phasis of Topcased, we decided to switch to
GMF all our existing graphical editors, and we naturally contributed the
graphical editor for Ecore modeling to the Eclipse community.

Cheers,
Jacques
