I just downloaded the latest eclipse, java for EE developers version of eclipse, the JEE perspective is missing?!

eclipse-jee-indigo-SR2-win32 was the zip I used. Everything looks ok in the plugins and features. Any thoughts what's up?

No, in fact it's the default perspective when I unpack that file anew and try it with a fresh workspace.

I see the issue the zip was called eclipse-jee-indigo-SR2-win32, unzipped it's eclipse-java-indigo-SR2-win32. The contents are wrong, it has the java not jee inside it? someone broken the build recently?

A shipped release doesn't routinely get rebuilt. The zip should, in
fact, contain only an "eclipse" directory with its contents. I suggest
you verify your archive with the checksums available on the right-hand
side of
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-ide-java-ee-developers/indigosr2
or simply redownload it. The one you have sounds very wrong.

Hi

Have you unzipped atop another Eclipse? That can cause weird problems...
