I have been working with Eclipse CDT for some time and created my Makefile-empty project and have been happily compiling and linking away. I then decided to move my source code to sourceforge and also decided to use Git. But after creating a Git repository in my project root directory on my laptop, Eclipse CDT will no longer invoke my Makefile to compile/link project. Can someone help me to get Eclipse CDT back to normal.
