Profiling OSGi application: Passing VM argments problem [message #109959] Fri, 24 August 2007 08:41

Hi there,

I have a problem regarding the passing of VM arguments to my application
while profiling with TPTP using the IAC. I am aware of the (now closed) bug
150660 (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=150660) which
describes a similiar problem. To be clear, the passing of vm arguments works
wonderfully for "normal" Java applications, but does not work for
Equinox/OSGi programs - at least for me. Please find an example OSGi project
which demonstrates the example attached to the bug page above. If want to
try out please specify -Dmyproperty="NotHere" as VM arguments under
Arguments and compare the different output with and without profiling.

Thanks,
J
