Hi all,

To profile web applications i was looking for profiler which can be
used from within eclipse ide. On the eclipse.org site i read about TPTP
and started using it.I am new to tptp. I have used TPTP 4.3.1 with eclipse
3.2.2. But sometimes it shows unpredictable results. In the memory
statistics view, in the collected column i am always getting
zero..irrespective of running the garbage collector forcibly..
I have even tried tptp 4.4.0 with eclipse 3.3. But in this case
execution analysis and probe insertion in not working.Could not find the
root cause though.

Can u all please share your experiences about the tool.?

Hi Jane,

Thanks first for your interest in TPTP!

Did you try refresh the view using the toolbar or context menu 'Refresh'
option to update the table content of view? Could you also give more
information about how your use cases failed on 440?

Hi,
I did refresh the views..but it seems the particular column of the
collected (objects) never shows value other than 0.. Other column values
are updated as application runs.
While using 440 'm working with eclipse 3.3. I have configured
oc4j10.1.3 in server view. I right click on server, say profile, set my
filter set and choose execution analysis option..but nothing happens.. :(
