Ok, Jacques. All these shortcuts are very useful with large and unknown
metamodels.
Another question, maybe it is a "EMF Search" topic, but I think the
search exec is very long (15s) with my metamodel.

Yes, this is an EMFT Search related question. When you perform the
search request on your large metamodel, did you restricted the Search
scope on the metamodel only ? If your metamodel loads external
Resources, this might be a reason of the slow search process.

did you discriminate your search participants to the sole EClass meta
element ?
If it is the case I would be more than happy grabbing an ecore model
example to find the cause of such slowish execution.
I also maybe have to explore efficiency about EMFT Search model loading
which is a not optimized for large models for the moment.

A detail: this problem has been detected during the search launched by
the EReferences search feature from the Ecore Tools Ecore editor
(right-clic on an EClass) and not directly via the classical Eclipse Search.
I guess this feature discriminates the search participants to the sole
EReference meta-element...

Yes, this is an EMFT Search related question. When you perform the
search request on your large metamodel, did you restricted the Search
scope on the metamodel only ? If your metamodel loads external
Resources, this might be a reason of the slow search process.

If it is the case I would be more than happy grabbing an ecore model
example to find the cause of such slowish execution.
I also maybe have to explore efficiency about EMFT Search model loading
which is a not optimized for large models for the moment.
