Hello,

after a long break I started to use VEX again and noticed that in Docbook v4.5 the value of my keycombo action attributes is not displayed in the properties view. It is also not possible to set a value. The predefined enumeration is not loaded, all I see is an empty dropdown list in the properties view. The same happens with other attributes, such as the common dir attribute (in section, para and others).

This behavior happens with the Milestone M8 build as well as the latest CI build. OS is Windows 7 64bit. Back in the old days, when VEX was still on Sourceforge, selecting parameter values worked, though Smile

Kind regards
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Probably, this bug has been introduced in 1.0.0M8 and occurs for all attributes of enumerated values. I filled bug 377714: bugs.eclipse.org/377714

Best regards,

Holger

Hi Andreas,

the bug is fixed and will be delivered with the next milestone 1.0.0M9. In the meantime you could use our "latest greatest" Vex from the CI build update site.
Best Regards,

Florian

attributes is not displayed in the properties view

1)May I ask how did you know the way to view/edit attributes in the first place?
I can't see "attribute" editing mentioned in the User guide.. is there a more update/comprehensive description?

2)So Properties is the only way to go with attributes?

Thanks,Gergo
