The Ecore Tools diagram support is really quite nice now too. Have you
tried it lately?

As for ecore tools, I installed it and it looked exactly like the sample
GMF Ecore editor (with just a different file extension), which is a nice
enough editor. Then just yesterday I stumbled upon Topcased on Plug-in
central which I installed, and this is one of the best Ecore editors I
have ever seen.
I am not sure if this is the future of ecore tools project or not, but
looking at the proposal it seems like it might be, which is very exciting!

Cool, I will keep an eye out for the code drop. As always, I'm sure you
and Nick will keep us informed of these great events that happen in the
modeling world :-)
As for ecore tools, I installed it and it looked exactly like the sample
GMF Ecore editor (with just a different file extension), which is a nice
enough editor. Then just yesterday I stumbled upon Topcased on Plug-in
central which I installed, and this is one of the best Ecore editors I
have ever seen.
I am not sure if this is the future of ecore tools project or not, but
looking at the proposal it seems like it might be, which is very exciting!
